What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To bring together persons interested in the promotion of the fine arts and other artistic endeavors. To enhance the enjoyment of the arts through the pursuit of study and other activities. To give recognition to individuals in the community for their contributions to the arts. To encourage further study through giving awards and scholarships to students of music, arts, the theatre, the dance and related fields.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Held quarterly meetings to highlight the artistic opportunities within specific geographic areas. Held a successful National Assembly in Richmond, VA with over 140 attendees. Increased membership in 10 of our 14 chapters(38 new members) Chartered 2 new chapters in Seattle-Tocoma, Washington (11 members) and Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg, Florida (16 members)to increase our active chapters to 16. Updated our website to increase its use by our members and enhance our digital and online presence. Provided membership training of new practices ane procedures to enhance chapter effectiveness. Restructured our policy and procedures. Attended cultural events within the chapter areas to enjoy and support the community arts.Supported young and emerging artists through attending plays, concerts, museums, and other cultural activities.Appointed a Strategic Planning Committee to create a 5-year plan to enhance our organization and expected growth.
