What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Provide classes for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors to acquire their professional development hours for continuing education which is required by the State of Wyoming and other states.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Wyoming Engineering Society holds a convention each year during the first week of February. Approximately 300 people attend the convention along with 40 exhibitors. The attendees are able to choose from a multiple list of classes over a 3 day period in which they learn about new technology and new concepts for engineering and land surveying. We also provide 7 cash awards given to University of Wyoming Students who are selected each year based on grades and accomplishments. We also recognize 6 scholarship recipients each year at the University of Wyoming.
