That date was extended by our filing of form 8868 to January 15, 2025.On September 25, 2024, the State of Georgia was impacted by Hurricane Helene and Milton. Subsequently, on October 1, 2024, the Internal Revenue Service announced filing relief (GA-2024-08, October 1, 2024) for those taxpayers affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The relief further extended the filing due date for federal tax forms including form 990 until May 1, 2025. Taking into consideration the Organization is domicled in the State of Georgia and further, the Organization retained the services of a Certified Public Accountant, who is located in the State of Florida and who has the necessary records and documents for filing the return, resides in Florida and is also covered under the extended filing date of May 1, 2025 (FL-2024-10, October 11, 2024) which also further extends to this Organization.Consequently, the above-referenced Organization respectfully request relief for any penalty that may arise as a result from the filing form 990.
