	Membership events include golf tournaments and other contests which are open to association members as a way to raise funds while allowing members to enjoy a time of networking and to be updated on the latest events with the association. Expenses include venue rental, refreshments, advertising, prizes and administrative costs.

	The annual convention offers continuing education with high attendance at the training sessions. Eight hours of continuing education are available towards the renewal of electrical licenses for members. The convention also offers networking opportunities with other members and vendors. The trade show held during the convention allows contractors to see the latest technological advances in materials and equipment.
