Explanation:

As a non-profit we have a board of volunteers who manage the finances and accounting. At the end of 2022 the treasurer stepped down, but filed an extension for the 2023 EZ for the organization as the position was vacant. At the end of May 2024 I was asked to volunteer for the position and was not transition in until June of 2024. It was not communicated until April or 2025 that I learned it was an extension not the 990EZ that was filed for 2023. Since learning of this miscommunication I have been working to collect all of the 2023 information to complete the necessary documents.
