Other -The Organizations primary exempt purpose is as follows: PASEO was established by the Sewage Enforcement Officers (SEOs) from accross the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to satisfy the need for interaction and cooperation among regulatory and private consulting Sewage Enforcement Officers as well as between the organization and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. -PASEOs goals are to: encourage and maintain the highest standards of professional ethics and practices; sponsor and promote educational programs for members and the public; provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas; and, to act on behalf of its members in connection with legislative and regulatory proposals concerning the SEO community. -Our membership is organized into six regional chapters corresponding roughly to the areas served by the Department of Environmental Protections six regional offices. This has enabled and fostered a communications link between PASEO and DEP on both the state and regional level. PASEOs membership is provided with industry news, professional resources, and networking opportunities via the oganizations website. -PASEOs Annual Conference and Trade Show is the Commonwealths premier educational opportunity for Sewage Enforcement Officers and all others involved in the on-lot sewage industry. PASEO also holds one-day a satellite conference in western Pennsylvania to help educate the SEO community in that part of the state. In addition to the training and networking opportunities provided to wastewater professionals at our annual conference, PASEO aslo runs DEP-approved training courses on topics related to septic system design, maintenance, installation, environmental enforcement, etc.
