Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Our organization is part of a post organization (VFW) that was chartered by an Act of Congress. Therefore, we have to follow their directives to govern ourselves and to make our governing documents. We have a Board of Directors that meet once a month to review and approve any documents. Our conflict of interest policy is made by our national organization and by ourselves by delegating the review, approval, and signature of documents to different individuals, and the board reviews and approves all documents. There are minutes of all the board meetings and of all of its activities. Our financial statements are available to the public on a continuous basis. Any member can at any time review our financial statements by stopping by at the office and requesting them.
