What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide social and recreational activities for members through board game events and gatherings.

28 In November 2024, the club hosted an open to the public Catan tournament that we had 16 total participants. Each participant donated to the club as a registration fee. This fundraising event was a means to generate donations to help keep the club doors open with using a fun social game to bring our community together.

Explanation:
it would appear that all notifications about upcoming taxes due from Simple 990 where not coming through and getting stuck in my spam folder so I was not seeing those. I understand that is an issue on my part. In addition, the tax person that originally filled this for the club (Brent Shea) seems to no longer be doing taxes and didn't inform us of when the dates for these are due. While the taxes seem to have been due in May 2025, it is now October and I am just now receiving my first notification via USPS that something is missing. It was not my intension to miss this filing, and I will complete them all now as needed if possible. In the future, I will have our club calendar note when we need to have taxes due for future tax filings.
