Explanation:

I transitioned into the Treasurer role in June 2025. The outgoing Treasurer did not file the tax return for 2024, nor did she indicate that the tax return was due to be filed. Prior to 2024, the organization has been filing form 990-N, however, our income has now exceeded the $50,000 threshold and it took time, once aware that the tax return was due, to figure out the process, gather the data, and figure out how to file the return. The first time I filed electronically, it was rejected because I picked 501(c)3 and we are a 501(c)7.
