IN THIS 12-MONTH, COHORT-BASED PROGRAM, FELLOWS MEET TWICE MONTHLY TO SHARE IN SKILLS TRAINING, EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING. USING INPUT FROM A SELECTION COMMITTEE COMPRISED OF FOUNDATION STAFF, BOARD MEMBERS, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS AND ALUMNI OF JFP, THE FOUNDATION SELECTS 13-15 TO FORM EACH CLASS. OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR-LONG PROGRAM, FELLOWS RECEIVE: A FINANCIAL STIPEND (GRANT) TOTALING $8,500 ACCESS TO UP TO $2,500 TO FURTHER SUPPORT INDIVIDUALIZED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, AND EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND SUPPORT ON LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY BUILDING.IN 2024, JANE'S FELLOWSHIP HAD 14 FELLOWS:TOTAL OPERATING EXPENSES = $395,315TOTAL GRANT EXPENSES = $119,000THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN APPROVED UNDER THE IRC CODE SECTION 4945(G)(3) BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IN THE PRIVATE LETTER RULING DATED JANUARY 3, 2005.
