1 NORTHERN HOMES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (NHCDC) - The Frey Foundation provided a program-related investment to NHCDC to further its charitable mission of promoting affordable housing opportunities in Northern Michigan. The funds will be used to support the construction of an affordable housing development at Pinebridge Place Apartments in Michigan. This investment advances the Foundation's exempt purpose by increasing access to quality, attainable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families, strengthening community stability and economic development in the region. 250,000
2 THE MICHIGAN WOMEN'S FOUNDATION - The Frey Foundation provided a program-related investment to The Michigan Women's Foundation to support the West Michigan Microlending Investment Fund. The purpose of this investment is to expand access to capital for women entrepreneurs and small business owners who face barriers to traditional financing. This initiative aligns with the Foundation's charitable goals by fostering economic empowerment, supporting local business development, and promoting financial inclusion within West Michigan communities. 200,000
