Explanation

Part X, Line 2:

The Council is a nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(6), and the applicable income tax regulations of the State of West Virginia. The Council is exempt from taxes on income other than unrelated business income. Accounting standards prescribe a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax retun examination. Council's management does not believe its financial statements include any uncertain tax positions. Council's income tax returns for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 remain subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service.
