Schedule C, Part II-B, Line 1 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE LOBBYING ACTIVITY The organization's advocacy agenda supports hunger relief efforts annually in Springfield and Washington D.C. Staff meet with and send letters and other information to elected officials, their staffs, and/or government officials regarding pending legislation and administrative issues related to hunger relief programs or other anti-poverty issues. We also periodically publish reports and summaries on these key issues that are made available to elected and government officials and the general public. The organization also works to inform and mobilize grassroots volunteers on important public policy issues.
