What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Veterans Organization 501c19: American Legion Post 646 is part of the National American Legion which was chartered by Congress in 1919. The Posts primary purpose is to enhance the well being of American veterans their families our military and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Supports the community and veterans by providing resources and information upon request placing flags on veteran graves in the local area cemeteries including the historic Philadelphia Memorial Cemetery participating in memorial events including the Malvern Memorial Parade which is the oldest memorial parade in America maintaining the flag at the Paoli train station and retiring flags for the community.
