What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? VAVCF maintains a Vietnam War Museum and Veteran Support Facility in East Orlando Florida. We preserve and teach the history of the Vietnam War and provide and a safe welcoming environment for military veterans and active duty to share fellowship with others.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We perform 3 annual fundraisers each year to support: 1. Mental Health Awareness and Treatment for PTSD $4k donated; 2. VA Hospital support for domiciliary residents throughout the year $4279 raised; 3. Breast Cancer Awareness and Research $7k donated. Our group also maintains the CPL Larry E. Smedley War Museum providing tours on weekends to the public. We provide Family Friday dinners and weekend operations of a social facility for fellowship among veterans and their families.
