What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Alameda County Mayors' Conference primary exempt purpose is to foster cooperation, understanding, and united action among city governments for local public welfare, regional problem-solving, and effective city-county relations, serving as a platform for sharing information, coordinating policy, and providing guidance on municipal issues. Essentially, it's a regional council of mayors working together on shared interests, like reviewing legislation and making recommendations for the greater good of Alameda County.
