1a Public Visiting Hours- (Garden Income) From late April to early October the garden is open to the public three days a week and other times by appointment. During the 2023 season more than 5,000 guests from around the US and abroad visited this iconic American interpretation of a classic English garden. A trained team of volunteer docents answers questions that enhance the knowledge and enjoyment of all visitors.
1d Garden Study Weekend Symposium-Hollister House Garden sponsors an annual symposium which brings together some of the most interesting voices at work today in the fields of horticulture and garden design for a day of learning and inspiration attended by professionals and garden lovers.
1b Barn Talk Lecture Series-On Saturday mornings in the spring and fall Hollister House Garden sponsors informal lectures that promote garden education to our local community. Experts in their specific field present illustrated talks and open the floor to questions and lively discussion.
1c Family Day-Each year we invite the entire family to visit the garden on a summer Sunday afternoon. All in our local community are welcome with an emphasis on activities that introduce children to nature and gardens through art projects, story time and music.
