What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? KENAI BOROUGH EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION KBEA WAS SET UP FOR THE LOCAL UNION 6140 ACTIVITY TO UNITE WORKERS AS PUBLIC EMPLOYEES IN THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH TO BARGAIN COLLECTIVELY WITH ITS EMPLOYER OVER TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT. DUES ARE COLLECTED ASSOCIATION MEETS HELD COMMITTEES FORMS INCLUDING SAFETY HEALTHCARE NEGOTIATION RECLASSIFICATION AND SCHOLARSHIP COMMITEES TOWARD THE GOAL OF REPRESTATION AND NEGOTIATION OF A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT EVERY THREE YEARS. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED EACH YEAR A CHRISTMAS DONATION EVENT CONDUCTED AS WELL AS THE ADDRESSING AND RESOLUTION OF GRIEVANCES ONGOING ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS UNDER THE SOLE REPRESTATION OF THE ALASKA PUBLIC EMPLOYEE ASSOCIATION AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TEACHERS APEA AFT. MEMBERSHIP OF KBEA IS BETWEEN 138-145.
