What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Founded in 1975, ICREA is the union representing teachers employed by the School District of Indian River County. Our mission is twofold: to act as a staunch advocate for our members, and to consistenly strive towards improving public education for all stakholders within our district, state, and nation. As a professional body, we re driven by our purpose to provide comprehensive representation for teachersin our district, while also servicing as a reliable source of information for professional educators and wider community. In carrying out our mission, we work tirelessy to promote professionalism and unity within the teaching profession, to make a significant, lasting impact on the future of education.
