What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Peoples Organization of Community Acupuncture POCA is a member-run 501c6 non-profit organization whose mission is to work cooperatively to increase accessibility to and availability of affordable group acupuncture treatments. We envision a world in which every community has access to local affordable acupuncture to reduce collective and individual suffering and nurture resilience.

28 The mission of POCAs Ear Circle is to train and support as many people as possible to become Auricular Acu-Technicians AATs and use the 5 Needle Protocol 5NP in their work and communities as supportive treatment for substance use disorders trauma and mental health issues. In 2025 the ear program expanded and we had an increase in the number of newly qualified trainers total trainings for the year as well as more trainees completing the program to become fully certified to utilize 5 NP.
