	San Diegueto American Legion Post 416 600 members documented over 25,000 hours of community service to our active duty veterans and their families in San Diego County providing multiple visits to the VA Hospital, Balboa Naval medical Center and County Veterans Homes. Legions Baseball expanded in the state and specifically in Southern California due to the efforts of post 416. Held all standard events including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, Marine Corps birthday, educating the local community in civics, history and to more fully understand the sacrifices of their local neighbors and friends. Selected sponsored and supported 9 young men to attend Boys State.
