What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Baltimore Area Chapter of the United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association's (CPOA), is a non-profit organization whose memberships include Chief Petty Officers of the United States Coast Guard. Members are Chiefs, Senior Chiefs, Master Chiefs, and Honorary Chiefs who are Active Duty, Reserve, or Retired. The Baltimore Area Chapter CPOA's mission is to promote community welfare of veterans throughout the Baltimore area and to give back to the community through donations and service projects for worthy causes. Some causes the association helps support include but are not limited to COAST GUARD FOUNDATION, WWII HONOR FLIGHTS, COAST GUARD YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS, COAST GUARD MEMBERS IN FINANCIAL NEED, FOOD FOR THE NEEDY DURING THE HOLIDAYS, etc.

28 Ceremonial dinner for Chiefs completing the Chief's Call to Initiation course. This course is offered twice per calendar year, benefitting 274 collectively with both events. Event celebrates the hard work and dedication members have didcated towards service of country and others.
