Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Nevada Sheriffs & Chiefs Association was formed in 1953 as a professional social nonprofit 501 c6 Association dedicated to the cooperation and understanding of all law enforcement agencies in the State of Nevada in order to provide law enforcement services of the highest professional quality to the citizens of the State of Nevada. NvSCA encourages fellowship between law enforcement agencies and to promote charitable and educational interests as well as compassionate and equitable public service for public safety in Nevada.

	October of 2025 NvSCA and the NV Chapter of the FBINAA held its annual training conference in Las Vegas. The speakers and presenters included two folks on Agency best practices for public release of information especially during critical incidents and or crisis Officer wellness presentation offered via a first hand experience by the instructor of a crisis that impacted his life discussion and leadership presentation by a well known author and leader who had the attendees participating in scenario based discussions on race religion and best practices on changing problems and reaching solutions Southern Border information and teaching on drones drugs and cartels as well as a National Security Briefing Over 100 law enforcement agency personnel inclduing agency executives attended and participated in the training which encompassed 16 hours. This conference also included separate meetings for both hosting organizations. NvSCAs meeting included speaking and presentations from technology leaders from across the country hi-lighting new and potential law enforcement related options to help secure and assist in not only officer safety but community safety. The statewide grants office provided information on the Byrne STate Crisis Intervention program that was being reviewed; NvSCAs representative to the Western NCJIS Working Group provided information and an update on what she was working on with the group which impacts all law enforcement agencies across the state and finally NvSCA members received guidance on educational opportunities through the University of NV Reno via the Criminal Justice Program Division which covered multiple in country and out of country terrorist threats to include China and the middle east. That speaker has since become a subject matter expert for NvSCA.

	Throughout 2025 NvSCA had three business meetings separate from the meeting listed above. During the July meeting there was also an 8 hour block of instruction that included case studies on the Oklohoma Bombing and the recent explosion outside of the Trump building in Las Vegas NV. Additionally each meetings consists of updated information related to mental health not only for agency staff but members of the community as well. Off Highway funds were discussed to show options for available grants; updated legislative information was provided not only from the NvSCA paid lobbyist but the Legislative LIaison team too. Each meeting averages at least 50 attendees that provide for input and information as well as best practices that agencies have run into related to the topics provided. The updated information related to the NCJIS modernization project of Dept of Public Safety; information and best practice suggestions were received via in person discussion on AI and how it is transforming policing; and information for the membership on cases out of 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally through these meetings the membership of law enforcement was also provided updates on new technology such as the new victim notification services system and the mobile crisis care programs in NV as well as a Yourth CHallenge academy that assists agencies that may have contact with youth that dont necessarily deal well in the local school environment .

Part VI, Line 7a	The Executive Board for NvSCA is comprised of 5 positions; President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Sgt at Arms and Board Member at Large. Each year at the October meeting the President position is outgoing so the general membership of NvSCA then nominates and elects the incoming Sgt. At Arms position. Then each of the following Executive Board Members move up one position except the Board Member at Large.
Part VI, Line 7b	Matters or items to be voted upon by the Executive Board may also have to have a vote by the general membership at the meeting following the Executive Board Meeting and once placed upon an agenda.
Part VI, Line 11b	No review was or will be conducted. As requested or directed each member can receive a copy of the annual 990. A copy is maintained on line and hard copy in the annual 2025 files.
Part VI, Line 19	Via the NvSCA. com website each association meeting documentation is available as well as the Financial positioni statements throughout the year. The associations bylaws are reviewed not only by the Executive Board but by the general voting membership as well. Input is sought from the membership when the draft or in place by laws are sent out to the membership. Additionally prior to all meetings not only are documents sent out via email by the Executive Director to all voting members but they are also available on line and via a digital application.
Part XII, Line 1	no change we continue to use a daily weekly monthly then quarterly reporting system via excel for all income and expenses. The income and expense reports are reconciled monthly against the banking report.
