1 The Tradition and Transition Fund has provided financial support for the production of textbooks, teacher's guides and curriculum guides over the last few years. The program has been successfully piloted and permission to move ahead has been received from the PNG National Department of Education. It will be fully launched in 2026 now that the teaching materials have been developed, published and distributed. The Enga Provincial Government will hire the necessary teaching staff in 2026. In 2026, the T&T funds will support training workshops for teachers at the Tradition and Transition Centre. 22,053
2 The Tradition and Transition fund is continuing to support the garden project through our non-profit partner in Namibia, the Nyae Nyae Development Foundation (NNDFN) who carries out the work on the ground. Funds were transferred to the Nyae Nyae Development fund in 2025 for continuing work on building gardens and securing water, programs that contribute greatly to reducing hunger in a struggling population. 24,000
