IN MARCH 2025, WE CELEBRATED OUR LIVE WEEKLY MUSIC SERIES ENTITLED MUSIC IN THE GARDENS. ART WORKSHOPS AND EXPERIENCES ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE SEASON. A FAMILY DAY CELEBRATING EARTH DAY CALLED IN THE GARDENS WAS HELD IN APRIL. THE CENTER & GARDENS PARTNERED WITH PALM SPRINGS MODERNISM WEEK BY PROVIDING SPECIAL ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN TOURS FOR BOTH ITS OCTOBER 2024 PREVIEW AND ITS ANNUAL EVENTS IN FEBRUARY 2025. DURING THE SEASON, 30,216 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN TOURS OF THE HISTORIC HOUSE AND THE HISTORIC ESTATE. THESE TOURS AND WALKS ARE FACILITATED BY PAID GUIDES. THE TOUR GUIDES WERE PART OF A PAID EDUCATIONAL INTERNSHIP BETWEEN SUNNYLANDS AND LOCAL COLLEGE AND TRADE PROGRAMS WHERE STUDENTS CAN RECEIVE INTERNSHIP CREDIT WHILE ACQUIRING JOB EXPERIENCE AS INTERPRETERS FOR THE PUBLIC.HISTORIC HOUSE TOUR 18,378 VISITORSOPEN AIR TOUR 7,382 VISITORSHISTORIC WALK 4,456 VISITORSOUR FEATURED EXHIBITION WAS CURATING CANOPY: TREES AT SUNNYLANDS. A CATALOG WAS PUBLISHED TO EXTEND THE REACH OF THE EXHIBITION THAT CELEBRATED WALTER AND LEONORE ANNENBERG'S HISTORIC ESTATE, THE VISITORS CENTER AND THE HISTORY OF THE TREES IN THOSE SPACES.
