What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Life Together International seeks to shape a world where women, children, and men live free of oppressive systems, and flourish in life together as God intends. Our mission is to end the oppression of girls and women by cultivating biblical oneness between men and women. Through the integration of biblical and scientific messages on human bonding, with investment in girls and women, we minister alongside like-minded global partners to transform hearts so cultural practices that devalue, mutilate, or silence women and girls no longer hold sway in African communities.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Form 990-EZ - Part III, Line 28 - MINISTRY ACHIEVEMENTS TO END FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION AND CULTIVATE GENDER EQUALITY - TOTAL $77,411. CONFERENCES TO EDUCATE TOWARD ENDING FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION (FGM) IN Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia-SUBTOTAL $60,887. In this fiscal year, Rev. Patti Ricotta and our Life Together International team facilitated a conference in Uganda that brought together all the girls/women we have taught and trained over the last ten years. 750 girls and women joyously participated. They wanted to tell us how the biblical teaching about God's perfect design for love, marriage and for their perfect bodies has changed their lives for the better. Knowing they did not have to submit to bodily mutilation in order to please God has made an enormous difference, and learning income generating skills has helped to lift them out of poverty and into a more meaningful life. Also, the training we have given our partners Stephen and Alice Mwanika has made an immense difference in the lives of over 2000 people. Alice and Stephen have taught in Liria, Moroto, and Ongongoja Uganda, serving 1,035 people. The Biblical Equality material they have learned to teach has become so inspiring that they were also invited back to Kenya, this time teaching 490 people in Timau, KY and 285 people in Kakamega, KY. This also led to a request for the Mwanika's to travel 32 hours by bus to teach about marriage equality, love and bonding in Lalibela, Ethiopia where 220 people enjoyed learning that couples can love each other and live happily together in mutuality. We are so blessed by the Mwanika's passion to teach, and show, the value of mutual submission in marriage. We also partnered with Rugiatu Turay in Sierra Leone and facilitated her ministry to end FGM there with funds for 2 conferences. Back in Uganda we also started a new sewing IGA for about 70 girls in a partially Muslim area. We are so happy that equal numbers of Muslim and Christian girls are learning to sew and studying the Bible together. This new ministry started with $3,648. We built three bakeries in Uganda 10 years ago and they were in desperate need of many repairs. This year we renovated two of the bakeries and restarted new groups in both areas. The new girls are now being trained by the original bakers (who are women now) and they are even training the new girls to bake wedding cakes! Those renovations were $3,856. In Tanzania, we have supported a Safe House for girls who run away from home because their parents want to force them to go through Female Genital Mutilation, so that they can sell their daughter for a high bride price, often to an older man looking for a child bride. This year we re-started a chicken project that we created some years ago, but which failed for lack of knowledge about how to care for chickens. I'm happy to find that this time, the knowledge gained has made a great deal of difference. The 23 girls who live at the Safe House are now having eggs every morning. That project cost $1,515. The expenses to make these conferences come together, to collaborate with partners who help us carry out our work, to create new, and restarted older projects, along with the travel and accommodations for Rev. Patti and the team to get where we need to be, and to monitor the progress throughout the year has been $16,887.

29 Form 990-EZ - Part III, Line 29 - INVESTMENT IN MINISTRY PARTNERS' DEVELOPMENT, EFFECTIVENESS, AND SUSTAINABILITY - TOTAL $17,543. These funds help our long-term ministry partners move forward in their ability to serve others every day. One of our ministry partners from the Diocese of Mara in Tanzania is named Max. He asked LTI for a loan to buy an outboard motor and other equipment he needed for a new fishing boat he purchased. Max wanted to increase his income in retirement by fishing for Daaga-the tiny sardine-like fish full of protein that are everywhere in Lake Victoria. We continue to be concerned about the quality of food and the amount of protein the girls at the Safe House are getting. So, we offered Max the loan amount he needed, $2,510, but made a deal that he pays it back, not to LTI, but by supplying the Safe House with in 100 kilos of Daaga per month for 2 years till the loan is paid off. Daaga is a favorite food for Tanzanians. Now the girls are getting healthier, Max has a new boat, and he has employed 5 out of work fishermen to run it. We are grateful to God that meeting Max's need also meets the need of 23 girls and 5 fishermen! We also made a gift of $386 to the Diocese of Mara towards a newer, safer vehicle for the Diocese and the Safe House. In Uganda our team of 8 ministers work very hard to help keep all of our 25 projects going, equipped, and monitored. They also make all the arrangements for each of our conferences, which takes time and skill to get everything in the right place at the right time. As volunteers, they work as hard as many in the USA with well-paying ministry jobs and they stay in communication with me and our board constantly. This year we decided to gift each team member with a new smart phone to help facilitate their ministry work, take quality pictures of all that we do, and keep in touch with us here in the United States. The cost for 8 phones, cases, chargers, cables and adapters was $3,325. I took Stephen and Alice Mwanika on a 3-day retreat, away form the normal and endless tasks of running a school for 580 students, 100 of whom are orphaned and live on the campus. We took a deep dive into beautiful new discoveries about what the Bible says regarding men and women. The retreat cost $1,169. Our Medical Compassion Fund used $3,692 this year and made a very important impact on several lives. Our dear ministry partner Rev. Bosco had a life-or-death need for emergency brain surgery. We are grateful to God that we could serve our brother with the cost of this need. We also cared for a boy from Agape school who had deformed feet and had always been in a wheelchair. We praise God that, though he may need more surgeries in the future, Michael can walk now with only a cane. One of the girls in our Terenpoy, Uganda group, named Kerine, fell into a pot of boiling beans when she was 2 years old. Every part of her face melted. She couldn't close her eyes or her mouth; she has only one finger and a thumb on her right hand and no fingers on her left. Her neck was fused to her chest. One of our LTI team members, Joyce, saw a flier about a team of doctors coming from the Netherlands to so plastic surgery on people just like Kerine. She was accepted to the program and this year she had her 2nd surgery. The doctors perform the surgery at no cost, and Joyce volunteers her time to take care of Kerine all along the way. We only pay for their transportation, food and Joyce's accommodations while Kerine is in the hospital, plus for return postop visits. It is sheer joy to see this young woman (now 26) being able to close her eyes and her mouth. Her neck is no longer fused to her chest, and soon (we hope) Kerine will have a reconstructed nose and perhaps an finger on her left hand. Our second Compassion Fund used $2,008 this year. We helped to rescue a Ugandan girl from being kept against her will in what we can only be describe as domestic slavery in Saudi Arabia. We got her released and paid for her transport back to her mother in Masaka Uganda. We also provided food relief for about 35 families in Uganda and school fees for 6 children.

30 Form 990-EZ - Part III, Line 30 - Agape Academy Primary School, Kaleko Village, Butebo District, Uganda TOTAL $13,771. Life Together International, along with strong support from Granville Federated Church (GFC) in Granville, MA has supported the education, development and health of the 580 children (100 of whom are orphans and live at the school) since 2016. This year we provided $3,622 in funds for food security for the children of Agape School. We also provided $1,440 to provide feed for the chickens, goats and pigs--all intended to increase the children's food security. The funds for food and feed were broken into monthly instalments and wired to the school. GFC built a water well on the campus in 2016, which LTI oversaw, and together, GFC and LTI maintain the needs of this all-important water source. This year we paid $660 to replace 10 pipes that were original to the 2016 build. We also replaced the pump, and it's equipment, as well as treated the well when it had a worm infestation. With a gift from a supporter of $8,050, we also finished the school's library with the purchases of tables and chairs, books, shelving and other library needs.

Explanation:
Since our extention is for today, May 15, I hope I will complete the filing without it being late. If the question pertains to why I needed to file for an extention it is because the Nov. 15 date is the very busiest time of year for me. I am writing my biggst fundraising letter while writing material to teach and preparing to travel to Africa for up to 2 months. I'm grateful to have the ability to file for an extension until May 15.
