Part III response or note to any other line in Part III EXEMPT PURPOSE -- TO BRING TOGETHER THE DESCENDANTS OF THE FIRST YEE ANCESTOR. FURTHER, THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS CHARITABLE SCHOLARSHIPS TO ITS MEMBERS, IN ORDER FOR THE MEMBERS TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION. February The annual Spring Banquet was held at Fuji Buffet in Madison Heights, MI. 162 attended. Raffle prizes and honorary awards were given out. Net expenses were $7,141. July The annual Picnic and Scholarship Award ceremony was held at Boulan Park in Troy, MI. Lunch was provided, and there were games, mah-jongg, a raffle, and calligraphy lessons. About 200 people attended. The highlight was the scholarship presentation to 79 scholars, ranging from pre-school to post graduates. Net expenses were $30,717, including $25,425 in scholarships. October A bowling event was held at Five Star Lanes, in Sterling Heights, MI. Over 100 attendees enjoyed bowling, lunch, and a raffle. Net expenses were $4,457.
