What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TEANECK SWIMMING FACILITIES ON A COOPERATIVE BASIS BY PROVIDING RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR UP TO 850 FAMILIES.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Because of declining membership, which represents the bulk of revenue, and increasing expenses, the organization was unable to continue providing the summer recreational benefits it has previously provided to its membership. To avoid insolvency and continue its mission, an agreement was made with the Township of Teaneck, the owner of the land, for the town to take over the land, buildings and fixtures, as would otherwise happen in default, continue providing the services, and the member bond liability (as a credit against future membership dues) for bonded members who remain active. The organization agreed to operate the swim club facilities under the supervision of the township during the 2025 swim season, and possibly beyond.
