If KOSA becomes law it will be the first major federal legislation to protect children online in over 25 years. We advanced the mission by contacting and urging the public to contact legislators for the purposes of opposing supporting modifying or proposing legislation relating to childrens online safety and privacy. We prepared and distributed educational materials urging interested stakeholders and the public to oppose or support legislation that affects these issues. We mobilized interested stakeholders and coordinated advocacy efforts with other nonprofit organizations that share our public interest goals.: Education and Outreach.
