What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Assist veterans and provide community and youth programs..
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 High School Oratorical Contest: This program featured 2 high school contestants delivering an 8-10-minute prepared speech on a US Constitution amendment. Additionally each participant presented a 3-5-minute impromptu speech on an assigned amendment. The event included 5 judges 2 timekeepers 2 tabulators and an usher. The winner received a 100 prize while all contestants received a medal and certificate. The local newspaper covered the event with photos. Our contestant concluded by placing at the State Level Public attendance was encouraged.

29 Veterans Day Celebration: The post hosted a public event honoring local veterans. Community members and veterans gathered to hear retired US Army Soldier Roanoke Rapids Chief of Police Lawrence Wiggins speak about duty and sacrifice. A complimentary lunch sponsored by a local restaurant was enjoyed by all attendees.

30 During the annual Christmas parade we decorated a trailer patriotically distributed candy to children along the 2-mile route engaged with veterans in the audience to assess their needs and recruited new members. Our aim is to showcase our commitment to supporting veterans children and youth through our programs.
