	The Association's purpose is to provide protection to Wyoming resident policyholders in the event of the failure of the insurance company that issued their life, annuity or health insurance policy. This is the Association's only program service and constitutes 100% of the Association's time. In 2025 the Association provided policyholder benefits to resident insureds of three insolvent insurers. The Association also provided support to policyholder and receivers of a number of open insolvency estates and closed estates.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	Pursuant to the Wyoming Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association Act, all insurance companies that are licensed to transact life, annuity or health insurance in the State of Wyoming and all health maintenance organizations licensed to do business in the State of Wyoming are members of the Association.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The member insurers elect the members of the Association's Board of Directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	Pursuant to the Wyoming Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association Act, the election of the members of the Board of Directors is subject to the approval of the Commissioner of the Wyoming Insurance Department.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	The Audit Committee reviews the Form 990 for accuracy and completeness prior to its filing with the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	The Association requires that all directors, officers and legal counsel complete a conflict of interest questionaire annually. The Administrator reviews all questionnaires and refers any responses that reflect a potential conflict to the Chairman and or counsel.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	The Association files its financial statements with the Wyoming Insurance Department on a quarterly basis; those statements are public record. The Association provides copies of its Plan of Operation and Conflict of Interest Policy to its member companies upon request.
Form 990, Part XII, Line 1	In 2025 the Association's Board of Directors resolved to change from presenting cash-basis to modified cash basis financial statements.
