Part III response or note to any other line in Part III The purpose of the society is to bring into one federated organization the physicians of New Hanover and Pender Counties so that they may make effective the opinions of the profession in all scientific, legislative, public health, and socioeconomic matters; to join with other county medical societies to form the North Carolina Medical Society; and through the State Society, to form the American Medical Association(AMA) . 05. Part III, response or note to line 29 In 2025 there were approximately 300 members. Eight general meetings were held with typically 40 members attending, and four board meetings were held. There was one meeting with approximately 75 attendees (members and spouses). 58 uninsured students were provided health assessments required for NC September and 230 students were provided annual athletic physical screenings in May 2025.
