What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To serve veterans and their families and to support the communities in which they live. AMVETS programs are focused on preserving freedom, supporting our defenders and serving communities by enhancing their lives. Our Americanism, Community Service and Child Welfare programs from local and national levels deliver our promise of preserving freedoms that America's armed forces have trained, served and, so often, sacrificed to defend. We have focused on helping to groom the up and coming cadets in our area to promote the armed forces.
