Activities & Governance 1 Briefly describe the organization’s mission or most significant activities: The Kenosha Police & Firemen's Credit Union is a cooperative, non profit corporation, incorporated under Wisconsin State Law to encourage thrift among it's members, create a source of credit at a fair and reasonable cost, and provide an opportunity for it's members to improve their economic and social condition.We are chartered as a Closed Credit Union with membership limited only to employees of the Kenosha Police and Fire Department and their immediate families.

Our Credit Union paid interest on Certificates of Deposit placed by our members. We began the year with 82 Certificates having a dollar value of $1,344,000.00. We ended the year with 95 Certificates with a dollar value of $1,727,000.00. A increase of 13 Certificates and a increase of $383,000.00 The total interest we paid on all Certificates for the year amounted to $42,105.25 Total Expenses $42,105.25.

Our Credit Union paid interest on regular savings accounts for all our members with a minimum balance of $100.00 . We began the year with 1085 member savings accounts with a dollar value of $3,630,539.00. We ended the year with 1043 member savings accounts with a dollar value of $3,112,275.01. An increase of 42 member savings accounts with a increase in dollar value of $518,264.00. The total interest we paid on all member savings accounts for the year amounted to $9,697.82. They are also available through the National Credit Union Administration and State of Wisconsin of Credit Unions.

Per our By-Laws all directors receive reimbursement for all out of pocket expenses incurred as a result of their service as directors. The Board has mandated a maximum of $600.00 per year reimbursement for each director.
