1	Briefly describe the organization’s mission or most significant activities: The purpose is to advance philanthropic and charitable endeavors, to encourage, advocate and participate in altruistic activities, to promote friendliness and good will between its members, and to undertake all proper activities, attending or having for its purpose the better acquaintance and the closer association of its members. The sole philanthropy of El Mejdel is the support of the Shriners Hospitals for Children through donations to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation. El Mejdel is Co-hosted a international convention of Daughters of the Nile in June of 2025 and the fundraising and convention registration caused the revenue to increase this year.
