What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The International Womens Forum - Washington State is an affiliate of the nonprofit International Womens Forum Inc whose mission is to assemble an extraordinary network of women to exchange ideas to learn to inspire and to build a better leadership for a changing world.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Purpose: IWF-Washington State brings together accomplished women to foster communication empowerment and leadership across our community and beyond. We support the global mission of International Womens Forum Inc. IWF to advance womens leadership across cultures and continents. Activities 100% of operations: We produce programs and meetings that educate members on community and global issues build leadership skills and strengthen our network of women leaders. Typical programs run two hours and include a brief business meeting a presentation by a community leader and Q&A discussion. All events are designed and run entirely by volunteers; IWF-Washington State has no paid staff 1 paid contractor Finance and Operations Manager contractor. Funding: The organization is funded solely by membership dues. 2025 dues were $875 per member; current number of members is 189. The Washington State Forum pays the national umbrella organization $200 per member annually.
