What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Primary Exempt Purpose - The Colorado Respiratory Care Society promotes the professional advancement of respiratory therapists in Colorado through leadership, education, and innovation. The CRCS strives to provide quality care and advocates for our patients, their family members, and the community we serve by supporting pulmonary wellness and disease prevention. The CRCS BOD is 100% voluntary, with no paid members.

The CRCS hosted a two and a half day in-person State conference on 06/08/2025 - 06/10/2025. 2025 had a significantly lower attendance compared to previous years. The average attendance at our state conferences has been around 200-275 RTs & RT Students. In 2025, the attendance fell to approximately 75-80 attendees leading to a significant loss.
