What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Young Mens Institute established in 1883 is a Benevolent Fraternal Catholic Mens Organization who wish to improve the Catholic Faith for families social moral and intellectual betterment. The Council in that mental state sponsors a food basket program every year at Christmas for 300 needy families toys for the children and through our scholarship program for those contiuning in their higher education and those who are entering a Catholic High School.

29 Scholarship Program for those members children who continue their High School education in a Catholic School and support for those who continue their higher education in college no matter where. Five scholarships are sent out to five catholic schools for their candidate each receive 1,500 sent directly to their school of choice. Also 1,500 up to three scholarships are given to members children to help going to collage.

30 We have two get together every month. Second Thursdays of every month a business which we charge for dinner and drinks and 8 times per year on the fourth Thursday of the month is our social for everyone to come for dinner which we also charge.
