Palmer Foundation, Inc. is to assist Phi Delta Theta House Corporations and Phi Delta Theta General Fraternity by providing financial capital for acquisition of the chapter houses, improving and updating current chapter houses including life safety improvement, and preserving prime property locations at which no Phi Delta Theta Chapter is currently located, as well as providing support for fundraising projects to support the above activities. Schedule D, Part X, Line 2	The foundation is exempt from income taxes under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code and a similar provision of Ohio law. Additionally, the LLC is a limited liability company, and the tax status of the Foundation extends down to the LLC. As such, the LLC is also exempt from income taxes. However, the Foundation is required to file Federal Form 990 - Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, which is an information return only. The Foundation's IRS Form 990 is subject to review and examination by federal and state authorities. The Foundation believes it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and therefore, does not have any uncertain income tax positions that are material to the consolidated financial statements.
