For more than 20 years the SWSGA has conducted a monthly competitive golf event. There were 12 such events conducted in 2025. These events included both individual and team competitions. Due to the rising cost of golf there was not a culminating annual event.

SWSGA conducted a competitive golf event at thirteen different golf venues during the course of 2024. These events allowed for all of our seniors (over 50 years of age) to participate in an outdoor recreational golf activity on monthly basis during the year. Members were able to enjoy the exercise and camaraderie provided by this competitive and recreational activity.
