1 Community Jazz & Wine Festivals - Jazz In the County INC curates memorable community experiences through the channel of music festivals focusing on the genre of jazz. These full day events generate both tangible and intangible benefits. Orchestrating a community level festival entails researching soliciting and negotiating contracts with performing artists securing a location fit to host a significant number of attendees partnering with local companies that provide stage and production services orchestrating all volunteer services attracting neighboring vendors to display share and sell their products or services design and circulate multiple advertising vehicles applying for charitable funding managing financial commitments and many small details to make the event possible. In 2024 Charles County Commission requested that we engage their county tourism team to expand our mission into Southern MD communities.
