The event included a ground-breaking fusion of circus and sustainable fashion in conjunction with Northwestern Universitys SPiN Lab. 14,180

1(a) The CCPAF is funded by a combination of public donations and ticket sales. The amount on line 1a reflects the ticket sale amounts that contributed to the festivals production. The festival is part of our exempt purposes as it provides access to art to under-served populations by providing sliding scale and donated tickets allows us to produce work created by BIPOC and LGBTQ artists and to create educational materials about circus and the themes mentioned in shows for audiences.
1(b) Gigs and Education Events covers all the other small projects Yes Maam Circus participates in that are not large enough to have their own names. These include production fees from smaller companies to use our equipment and services to create new work performing at schools and day camps in Chicagos under-served South Side and corporate workshops to teach adults about circus arts and how to support minority artist populations.
1(c) The Holiday Market was produced in collaboration with Cirques Experiences Winter Show which allowed for free entrance and sliding scale vendor rates. It gave a platform for local artisans and circus artists to show their work at low or no cost and provided a free safe space for kids to enjoy circus arts and participate in arts creation.
