Briefly describe the organization’s mission: As a member of the American Kennel Club, the focus of Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers is to provide a dog show and match in order to bring together and educate the public on purebred dogs as wll as American bred dog ownership and all of the exciting activities that families, individuals and youth can get involved in with their canine companions.

The three largest service accomplishments are: (A) Adding performance events (Fast cat, Scent work, and Canine testing) has increased interest and participation in our shows, (B) Incorporating new conformation competitions (4-6 beginner puppy, open show and pee wees) has increased participation and youth involvement, (C) offering AKC sponsored educational program seminars for new and aspiring judges as well as offering reduced health clinic services has increased participation.Additionally PVDF annually donate to organizations involved with Dogs - Purdy Womens Prison, FIDO - Pet Food Bank offers dog and cat food distribution to individuals and families with limited means, National Animal Interest Alliance to promote high standards of animal care and preserve the human-animal bond.
