Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	A draft copy of the 990 is provided to the executive committee prior to its filing. The executive committee then reviews and approves the copy, which is documented in the committee minutes. The approval is then communicated to the outside accountant who prepares the final copy.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	The Elgin Area Chambers Executive Committee reviews CEO compensation annually. The review process includes an evaluation of performance, peer comparisons, and input gathered from numerous sources. Based on these factors, the committee proposes and votes on compensation.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	The chamber makes documents available in accordance with the applicable law.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	Board members and all employees are asked annually to review the conflict of interest policy and complete and sign the form. The forms are kept on file. When made aware of a potential conflict of interest, the Chamber follows up with the individual in question to get new forms completed and signed.
