Explanation:
Foundation relies on me, a Co-Trustee/CPA to file the Foundation tax returns. I rely on an associate CPA who has extensive experience with Non-Profit organizations to prepare the extension and complete the tax return for my reivew and E-filing. The Foundation has a fiscal year ending February 28 and accordingly a year end filing date of July 15, 2026 which is not a usual filing deadline date for any other tax returns. It obviously can easily be overlooked, as in this case this year. Foundation made sufficient estimated tax payments and no balance of liability is due with the tax filing. I beleive we have past history of tiemly filing tax returns Unfortuntely, and not do to willful neglect and probably more due to my getting up age, I did not realize an extension of time was not filed until 4AM on July 20, 2026 We immediatley requested, assembled and analyzed all financial records necessary to accurately complete the tax return and are hereby submitting the return as soon as was possible. We respectfully request abatement of any potential late filing penalty Nicholas G Mamary - CPA and Co-Trustee
