| Pt III, Line 3 | Our club has a 501c7 tax designation and previously employed our own kitchen staff for private dining. Due to recent financial constraints, we are having some difficulty to retain our kitchen staff. A local firm has agreed to lease our kitchen to service our members for private dining as well as for public dining. We have a lease agreement with specific terms outlining boundaries and responsibilities, with private areas cordoned off. No income will be derived from the public dining, only from the lease agreement rental payments. The kitchen under the lease will operate independently, without the club promoting the dining service or deriving additional income from food sales. The lease became effective during June of 2025, and the lessee terminated the lease in November of 2025. Since the kitchen was owned and operated independently we were not able to accurately report the private/publc breakdown of dining sales, so we included the entire amount as shown on Form 990, Pt.V, Line 10b, and Form 990, Pt. VIII, Line 6c. |
