What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Mission of the Association is to promote the operation, ownership, and enjoyment of privately owned railroad passenger cars.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Associations mission is to promote the operation, ownership and enjoyment of privately owned railroad passenger cars. This is accomplished with meetings to educate our members on the current issues: work with the freight railroads, Amtrak and the appropriate government agencies to ensure the opportunity to run these cars. During the year, we operated an Autumn colors charter train from Albany NY to Rutland VT.
