	The organization conducts experimental and theoretical research aimed at improving hypothermic tissue stabilization. Activities include development and implementation of protocols and clinical standards providing education and training services for medical professionals preparation and dissemination of reports and other publications and coordinating the development and formation of regional organizations to deliver hypothermic tissue stabilization services. Current year accomplishments include: 1 assisted on two international biostasis cases; 2 completed manuscript of a forthcoming non-fiction book about biostasis; 3 increased subscribers to the Biostasis Standard an online scientific journal by 39%;4 conducted bi-annual training for clinical staff contractors and other attendees; 5 continued development of new cooling technologies; 6 completion and introduction of a liquid ventilation device capable of mitigating ischemic brain injury by inducing rapid cooling immediately after cardiac arrest; and 7 delivery of scientific presentations at several public conferences.
