The property was sold in 2023. Proposition One Committee received $396,123.91 from the sale. At that time the Board of Directors approved repaying the Thomas loan, in writing. Ellen Thomas has since 2023 spent $133,630.18 of the $194,969.68 owed by Proposition One Committee to the Thomases to repair 401 Wilcox Rd., Tryon, NC 28782, where Proposition One Committee now has its office. There is still $61,339.50 owed to the Thomases; it remains invested in the Proposition One Committee CD which has produced interest that is transferred to a money market account which is used for various expenses of the corporation. |
