What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Revere Teachers Association is a union of professional educators formed to advocate and bargain for the improved wages, hours, and working conditions of its members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 During the FYE 2025, RTA engaged in contract enforcement and successor bargaining for the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Association and the Revere Public Schools School Committee. RTA enforced the CBA through the grievance process and filing of unfair labor practice charges on behalf of our 750 member bargaining unit. RTA engaged in significant internal organizing efforts with significant expenses toward materials for visibility in the schools and community. Further, RTA contributed to charitable work in the Revere schools with total population of approximately 8000 and supported students through the Revere High scholarship program, awarding four scholarships, although these are not reflected in this year's cash accounting due to slow processing of payments by the school.
